KA1XX series is a high-performance anticorrosion additive suited for decorative nickel plating. KA1XX additives are compatible with nickel baths based on Watt’s composition.

It does increase corrosion resistance significantly without influencing decorative nickel appearance. Use of additives from this series can be converted into reduction of metallic nickel usage. Thus, the same corrosion protection can be achieved with thinner nickel deposits.

KA2XX additive series designed for functional zinc plating. Additives from this product line enhance sacrificial protection given by metallic zinc by slowing down its oxidation. KA1XXX series is design for Cr(III)-based passivation. It is appropriate for various types of passivation from blue to black, including cobalt-free. It amends protection against corrosion given by the passivation process without impacting its decorative aspect.
